Rainey Ranch

Rainey Ranch is a beautiful 15 acre farm and fun facility for people of ALL ages.  It is convieniently located off hwy 82 in Coker Al., just 4 miles past the Northport Wal-Mart.  There is something here for everyone to enjoy.  Animal lovers can have hands on experiences with all the animals on the farm.  We have alpacas, horses, ponies, donkeys, potbelly pigs, goats, sheep, rabbits, turkeys, peacocks, chickens, ducks, doves, cats, dogs and a cow named Anabelle.  We offer horse and pony rides and a wagon ride with large animal interaction.  Pony petting stations are available for those who want to brush and groom them.  There is a catfish pond for duck and fish feeding, fishing( bring your own pole).  If animals are not your thing, there are plenty of other activities to occupy your time.  We have a playground with rock and rope climbing, slides and swings and a fort area and doll house.  You can enjoy a game of volleyball, horseshoes, bean bag toss,. ladder ball, bocce ball, football, frisbee, soccer.  We have hilllbilly basketball, putt-putt, bowling and cow roping.  There are noodles for sword fighting and fat rubber tire tricycles to ride for the little ones.  There is plenty of shade on the ranch but if you get hot you can splash in the creek.  When you get tired there are Adult swings and sitting areas.  A grill is available for cooking ( bring your own charcoal and food).  Firepits are also available for roasting hot dogs and marshmellows.  There is a large pavilion and picnic tables for  all occations.  The bathrooms are located in the main barn, equiped with handicap accessibility and baby changing areas.  T-shirts, stuufed animals and water are availavle for purchase.
